PAGTANAW: Online Concert Series

is a series of four online concerts that aims to broaden the horizon of Philippine contemporary music. Each episode revolves around the themes of love, nation, faith, and nature. The modernized arrangements of the traditional Kundiman music transports audiences to the past. The concert will feature works by the National Artist for Music Dr. Ramon Santos, composer and professor Dr. Jonas Baes, and the ensemble’s artistic director AJ Villanueva. The four-part online concert series features the Ripieno Ensemble PH, a Manila-based chamber music ensemble who specializes in Philippine and Southeast Asian contemporary music and dedicated to the promotion and performance of new Filipino music.Pagtanaw
